The first married couple to be jointly beatified, Luis Beltrame Quattrocchi and María Corsini showed that married and family life can be the path to holiness.
Biography
They married in Rome in 1905 and raised four children in a joyful faith; three embraced consecrated life. Luis exercised law and public responsibilities with honesty, while María wrote, served as a nurse and promoted family works. Both participated in Catholic associations, helped persecuted people during the war and together cultivated the Eucharist, prayer and charity. Their love matured as a shared vocation.
