Priest
French priest from Bayonne, Luis Eduardo Cestac found orphaned girls and women who wanted to leave prostitution on the streets.
Biography
He did not limit himself to giving them shelter: he sought education, work and a community capable of sustaining a new life. She founded the Servants of Mary of Anglet and a contemplative branch dedicated to prayer. He renounced positions and security to closely follow his works, trusting in Providence in the midst of serious shortcomings. His charity combined compassion, discipline, training and real opportunities for reintegration.
Practical advice
When someone asks you for help, try to also offer them a tool to regain autonomy and not always depend on you.
