Italian priest, Luis Lenzini was murdered out of hatred for the faith in the climate of violence that followed World War II.
Biography
Parish priest of Crocette de Pavullo, he cared for a dispersed population and publicly defended the dignity of the person against materialism and violence. On the night of July 20 to 21, 1945, some men took him out of the house with the deception of assisting a dying man. Upon understanding the trap, he rang the bells, but was taken to a vineyard, tortured and killed.
