Luis Tezza, priest (1841–1923)

Italian Camillian priest and missionary in Peru, Luis Tezza dedicated his life to the renewal of his order and the comprehensive care of the sick.
Biography
As a teenager he joined the Ministers of the Sick and was a trainer and superior in Italy and France. Together with Saint Josephine Vannini she founded the Daughters of Saint Camillus, oriented to the corporal and spiritual service of the sick. Sent to Lima at the age of fifty-nine, he spent more than two decades there as a confessor, counselor and apostle of charity. His constant guide was to seek the will of God above his own projects.
