This saint founded in Füsen, Germany, on the Lech River, a small monastery where pilgrims heading to or returning from the Holy City and who needed to rest before or after climbing the peaks of the Alps were received.
Biography
There are many legends about the miracles of Saint Magnus, and he owes his popularity to his staff, since it was said that he walked through the fields killing all kinds of worms, mice, aphids and other animals that were enemies of the crops just by bringing the staff close to them.
