Religious of the Good Shepherd, María Agustina Rivas, “Aguchita”, served indigenous and peasant communities in Peru.
Biography
She stayed with the people of La Florida and was murdered by the Shining Path on September 27, 1990. The Church recognized in her dedication a true martyrdom, lived with fidelity, hope and forgiveness.
