Biography
Canadian educator and founder of the Sisters of Saint Anne, María Ana Blondin fought the illiteracy that prevented many children from knowing the faith. The daughter of peasants and without education in her youth, she learned to read as an adult and became a teacher. She founded a community dedicated to teaching, but was unjustly separated from her government and assigned to humble jobs for years. She accepted that cross without abandoning her sisters or the mission received. His fertility was born from obedience, forgiveness and trust in Providence.
