Italian consecrated laywoman, María Antonia Samà lived for almost sixty years immobilized in a bed and turned her home into a place of prayer and consolation.
Biography
Born in extreme poverty and without schooling, she worked in the fields until a serious joint disease left her in a supine position. She took private vows and was known as "the little nun of Saint Bruno." Neighbors and visitors came to her to ask for prayer and advice; From his physical limitation he offered listening, hope and a serene union with the crucified Christ.
