María Cristina Brando (1856–1906)

Neapolitan nun and founder of the Expiatory Victim Sisters of Jesus Sacramentado, María Cristina Brando focused her entire life on the Eucharist.

Biography

Since she was a child she wanted to consecrate herself to God; His fragile health prevented him from remaining in several communities, but it did not extinguish his vocation. She founded an institute dedicated to the worship, reparation and education of girls. He taught that love of God and neighbor spring from the same root. She ruled with humility and sought to remain hidden next to the tabernacle.
