Mary of the Conception of Trenquelléon (1789–1828)

A French nun, born Adela de Batz de Trenquelléon, she turned the trials of the Revolution and exile into a burning desire to serve God.
Biography
From a young age he organized a network of friendship and apostolate to sustain the faith, visit the sick and help the poor. In collaboration with Blessed William Joseph Chaminade, she founded the Daughters of Mary Immaculate, the female branch of the Marianist family. As superior, she formed her sisters in union with Christ, simplicity and availability for the mission. He died at the age of thirty-eight.
