Spanish nun and Eucharistic worshiper, María de los Ángeles Ginard Martí was murdered during the religious persecution of 1936.
Biography
Born in Mallorca as Ángela Ginard, she joined the Sisters of the Guardians of the Eucharistic Cult and distinguished herself for her prayer, simplicity and community service. When militiamen arrived at the place where she was hiding, she voluntarily identified herself as a nun to prevent the owner of the house from being arrested. She was imprisoned and shot on the outskirts of Madrid on August 26. He faced the danger with serenity, after years of silent dedication before the Eucharist.
