Mary of Saint Euphrasia Pelletier (1796–1868)

French religious, Rosa Virginia Pelletier took the name María Euphrasia and dedicated her life to women and young people in situations of violence, exploitation or abandonment.

Biography

As superior, she created a contemplative community for those who desired a new life and founded the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd in Angers. He organized his houses under a common government to respond more quickly to requests from different countries. She traveled, raised sisters and defended that each person is worth more than an entire world.
