An Italian peasant with a simple education and solid faith, María Dominga Mantovani collaborated with Blessed José Nascimbeni in the founding of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family.
Biography
As the first superior general, she trained the nuns to serve children, the sick, the elderly and poor families, drawing inspiration from the daily life of Nazareth. With practical prudence and a maternal spirit she sustained the growth of the congregation for more than forty years. His holiness was born from catechesis, work well done and the availability to become "everything for everyone."
