Founder of the Missionaries of the Blessed Sacrament and Mary Immaculate, María Emilia Riquelme united Eucharistic adoration, missionary spirit and service to the poor.
Biography
The daughter of a military man, since she was a child she experienced numerous family transfers and losses, but she found inner stability in the Eucharist, which she called her paradise on earth. He waited for years for his father's consent to consecrate himself. In 1896 he founded a community dedicated to worship, education and missions in Granada. She wanted her sisters to seek holiness together and bring others closer to the love of Christ.
