Mexican religious, María Inés Teresa del Santísimo Sacramento united Eucharistic contemplation with an ardent missionary spirit.
Biography
Born Manuela de Jesús Arias Espinosa, she joined the Poor Clares during religious persecution and professed on December 12, 1930. She founded the Poor Clare Missionaries of the Blessed Sacrament, which extended their educational and evangelizing work to several continents. He also promoted a spiritual family made up of priests, lay people and consecrated women at the service of the reign of Christ.
