María Isabel Hesselblad (1870–1957)

Swedish raised in the Lutheran tradition, Isabel Hesselblad emigrated to the United States and worked as a nurse among poor patients.
Biography
Her search for the unity of the Church led her to embrace the Catholic faith. In Rome he restored the Holy Savior branch of the Order of Saint Brigid and tirelessly promoted ecumenical prayer. During the Nazi occupation he hid Jewish and persecuted families in his house, risking the lives of the community. It united love for the truth, respect for other confessions and courage to protect the threatened.
