Biography
An Italian religious sent to Argentina, María Ludovica De Angelis served for more than fifty years at the Children's Hospital of La Plata. Without advanced academic training, he began in humble tasks and managed to organize services, expand facilities and obtain resources for child care. His authority sprang from availability, prayer and the motto "do good to all, no matter to whom." Doctors, families and workers found in her a maternal presence that turned administration into authentic mercy.
