María Pilar Izquierdo Albero (1906–1945)

Spanish laywoman and founder, María Pilar Izquierdo transformed long years of illness and poverty into a mission of love for God and those in need.
Biography
He was born in Zaragoza, he could not attend school regularly and worked from a young age. She suffered various illnesses that left her paralyzed and blind for years; In 1939 she unexpectedly recovered her health and began to gather collaborators to care for the poor, the sick and children. From this inspiration the Missionary Work of Jesus and Mary was born. Misunderstandings and unfair decisions separated her from the work she had started, but she accepted the test without resentment and died offering her sufferings.
