A serious fall left María Rivier immobilized for years, who promised the Virgin to dedicate her life to teaching children if she regained her health.
Biography
As an adult, she opened schools and, in the midst of the French Revolution, she gathered a group of women who gave rise to the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. He catechized, trained teachers and sustained the faith of private communities of priests. Of small stature and fragile health, he displayed extraordinary apostolic energy because he knew he was an instrument of God to bring young people closer to the Gospel.
