An Italian nun born Clotilde Micheli, Maria Serafina of the Sacred Heart founded the Sisters of the Angels to imitate their worship and service.
Biography
From a young age he felt the call to create a community dedicated to the Holy Trinity and the Eucharist, but for years he went through travel, misunderstandings and failed projects. She worked as a nurse and educator before eventually establishing the institute in southern Italy. She taught her sisters to combine contemplation, joy and attention to poor and abandoned children.
