Italian Augustinian and abbess of the monastery of Santa Rita in Casia, María Teresa Fasce renewed the contemplative life and spread devotion to the saint of the impossible.
Biography
For twenty-seven years he suffered from a painful illness, but he continued to govern with wisdom and attention to the needs of the people. He promoted an orphanage, charity works and the construction of the Basilica of Santa Rita. His life united contemplation, offered suffering and concrete action in favor of the poor, orphans and pilgrims.
