Swiss nun and co-founder of the Sisters of Charity of the Holy Cross, Maria Teresa Scherer served the sick, orphans, poor and young people.
Biography
At first he felt disgust at some hospital tasks, but he learned to overcome it for the love of Christ. After the death of the founder, Father Teodosio Florentini, he assumed great responsibilities and expanded the congregation with prudence and courage. He faced debts, misunderstandings and illnesses while maintaining trust in Providence.
