Martyrs
The young Oblate priest Mario Borzaga arrived from Italy to Laos ready to learn the language and share the life of isolated villages.
Biography
Pablo Thoj Xyooj, a Laotian catechist of the Hmong ethnic group, prepared to announce the Gospel among his own people. In April 1960 they went together to visit communities in the north and disappeared; Later it was learned that guerrillas opposed to the missionary presence had murdered them.
