Matilda of Hackeborn (13th century)

Saint Matilda of Hackeborn, from a noble family, was born and died in the 13th century in Thuringia, Germany, and lived almost her entire life in seclusion in the convent of Helfta, in the same community as her older sister Gertrude.
Biography
He was distinguished by his humility, fervor, kindness, cleanliness and innocence of life and by the familiarity and intensity with which he lived his relationship with God, the Virgin and the saints.
She was endowed with high natural and spiritual qualities, among them a voice of extraordinary softness. She was teacher of the convent choir and teacher of novices. They called her "God's nightingale."
