Premonstratensian priest
He held the episcopal chair of Thérouanne, in France, for twenty-seven years.
Biography
His reputation for holiness was such that it was said: “In Bernardo, charity shines, in Norbert it is faith, and in Mión, it is humility.” To remedy the moral insufficiency of his clergy, he founded two Premonstratensian abbeys in his diocese, who were then living in their first fervor and were priests of the first order.
