She was barely twenty-five years old when she died in the convent of Good Hope in Belgium after a frustrated engagement.
Biography
Taken against her will before the altar, she answered: “No, never,” when asked if she accepted the knight Simón as her husband. She then cut off the tip of her nose to ward off potential suitors.
