Osmondo (+1099)

He was born in Normandy, and died in England.
Biography
He was one of the chaplains that William of Normandy took with him when he conquered England in 1066. Osmondo became bishop of Salisbury and as such introduced numerous French procedures into ecclesiastical administration that were soon adopted by the English Church. He was a man who loved duty and had a lot of common sense, an enemy of extremes and dedicated to study and prayer. His canonization process concluded in 1457.
