Pablo Manna, priest (1872–1952)
missionary priest
Italian priest of the Pontifical Institute of Foreign Missions, Pablo Manna renewed the missionary consciousness of the Church through prayer, formation and his writings.
Biography
Ordained in 1894, he worked for several periods in Burma until a serious illness forced him to return permanently. Since then he dedicated more than forty years to awakening in priests and faithful the responsibility for the evangelization of the world. He founded the Missionary Union of the Clergy and promoted Christian unity. He insisted that the missionary must first reproduce in himself the life of Jesus Christ.
