Paula Montal Fornés de San José de Calasanz (1799–1889)

Spanish educator, Paula Montal knew hard work and the lack of opportunities for women since she was a child.
Biography
In 1829 she opened a school for girls and later founded the Daughters of Mary, Religious of the Pious Schools. Inspired by Saint Joseph of Calasanz, she promoted a broad human and Christian education, capable of strengthening families and transforming society. He spent his last years in a secondary place, without claiming recognition. Her work demonstrates that educating a girl well multiplies good in entire generations.
