Petra of Saint Joseph (1845–1906)

Born in Valle de Abdalajís, Spain, Petra, Ana Josefa Pérez, was the founder of the Congregation of “Mothers of Desamparados and San José de la Montaña”.
Biography
His charism was merciful charity, especially with the helpless elderly, and his spirit was eminently Josephine, everything seemed little to him to make known the husband of the Most Holy Mary. He built a sanctuary on the so-called “Bare Mountain” in Barcelona and called it San José de la Montaña. By his death, his congregation had spread to eight cities in Spain.
