Of English origin, he directed a group of hermitages on the French island of Batz, when King Childebert sent him to convert the idolaters of the neighboring region of León.
Biography
Pol fulfilled his mission for twenty years. He then left the episcopal see to one of his disciples and returned to the island of Batz where he calmly prepared for death.
