The Roman priest Hippolytus, a renowned theologian, had established himself as the head of a dissident community.
Biography
During the persecution of Maximinus, he was deported to Sardinia with Pope Pontian, where he was reconciled with the Church. Subjected to forced labor, both died as martyrs for Christ. It is always time to rectify.
