Procopius (+303)
confessor of faith
He was born in Jerusalem and lived in Scithopolis, where he was a reader, exorcist and translator of the Scriptures.
Biography
He was reputed to be a very spiritual and mortified man who lived only on bread and water. When Diocletian's persecution began, he was taken with other Christians to Caesarea, and there the governor Flavian ordered him to sacrifice to the gods. When Procopius refused - citing some verses from Homer that could be applied to his faith - he had his head beheaded.
Practical advice
Without seeking recognition, avoid criticism and speak with charity about someone who has hurt you and offer that effort for someone who needs help.
