Prosperous
Husband
(390-455) He was born in Aquitaine, France and died in Rome where he was secretary of Leo the Great, and editor of the pontifical chancery.
Biography
He wrote a Universal History and dedicated much of his writing to expounding and defending the ideas of Saint Augustine, which helped refute the heresies of Pelagianism and consecrate Saint Augustine as one of the greatest doctors of the Church. A rhymed letter that Prospero addressed to his wife survives, from which it appears that their marriage must have been very happy.
Practical advice
