Prudentius (†861)
Bishop
He was born in Spain but left his homeland invaded by Muslims and found asylum at the court of Charlemagne, where he was chaplain to his son Luis the Good-natured.
Biography
Prudencio was a prolific writer, and in every page of his writings you can breathe his love for God and souls. When he was appointed Bishop of Troyes, he wrote numerous works to defend the orthodoxy of the faith against heretics.
