Brother of the Christian Schools and the first Malagasy religious of his institute, Rafael Luis Rafiringa was an educator, writer and supporter of the Church in Madagascar.
Biography
When foreign missionaries were expelled during armed conflicts, he courageously took on the formation of communities, the organization of prayer and the teaching of the faith. His cultural work earned him entry into the Malagasy Academy and his service during the war was publicly recognized. He formed generations of Christians demonstrating with his life what he taught.
