Biography
She was a German nun who lived and died in the shadow of the Abbey of St. Gallen, Switzerland. For twenty-four years she was bedridden due to terrible pain that left her body riddled with sores. Raquilde was, however, “happy to thank Christ in this way for having suffered so much to save us.”
