Biography
Raymond Cayré, Gérard Cendrier, Roger Vallée, Jean Mestre and forty-six companions clandestinely supported the Christian life of French workers in Germany. Arrested by Nazism, they died in concentration camps between 1944 and 1945. The Church recognized in their dedication a true martyrdom, lived with fidelity, hope and forgiveness.
