After a rather libertine youth, Romualdo entered Ravenna as a monk.
Biography
But he wanted to combine community life with that of the hermits. For a long time he was looking for his way until he settled in Camáldoli, next to the Apennine mountains. Camaldolese can follow “the Rule” (of Saint Benedict) or live as hermits or combine both lives.
Practical advice
As an offering to the Lord, correct with charity a fault that should not be ignored with external order and internal recollection.
