Santiago Alfredo Miller (1944–1982)

A brother of the Christian Schools born in the United States, Santiago Alfredo Miller was a teacher, director and builder of schools in Nicaragua and Guatemala.
Biography
In Huehuetenango he worked with indigenous youth, especially in their agricultural and professional training. He was a hardworking religious man who combined teaching with repairs and manual tasks. On February 13, 1982, he was murdered while fixing a wall at the educational center. He died to serve a threatened community, leaving the testimony of an education that dignifies the poor and is committed to their future.
