A noble Roman by birth, without being a priest, he went on a mission to the banks of the Danube River.
Biography
He preached prayer and penance. Saint Severinus led a life of great poverty and charity towards everyone, which is why he was venerated even by barbarian kings. He is considered the first apostle of Austria.
