Sylvester I, Pope
Pope
Practical advice
Today, in the presence of God, prepare well for a conversation in which you must guide someone like someone who works and prays under the loving gaze of God.
Biography
He was elected Pope immediately after the Constantinian peace and ruled the Roman Church for 21 years (314-335). He had to witness the spread of Christianity in all social classes. But he also witnessed, without being able to do anything, the crisis unleashed by the priest of Alexandria, Arius, who denied the divinity of Christ. Through his legacies, he was present at the Council of Nicaea, the first ecumenical council (325).
