One of the strangest figures in the saints' books is that of this man from the East who becomes an anchorite in the same sacred landscape where he met Jesus Christ.
Biography
Simeon, called “the madman”: prophet, miracle worker, scandalous eccentric, clown, shares his life with beggars and prostitutes, the waste of society, laughing at everything and everyone, as if to make us see that life would be a gigantic joke that only makes sense if we know how to live it with the love of God and with good humor.
Practical advice
Trusting in God's grace, give up unnecessary distraction for a few hours without leaving for tomorrow the good that you can do today.
