Sinforiano was a young, educated Christian from Autun, France.
Biography
Judge Heraclius sentenced him to death for having mocked the pagans' veneration of the goddess Cybele. As he was going to be executed, his mother climbed the walls and shouted to him in Gallic: Be brave, my son! Do not worry about this world, for you are going to eternal life! Sinforiano turned his happy face towards her and died a brave man.
