Solange (+880)
Secular
She was a young peasant girl from Villamont, France, favored by heaven with numerous talents.
Biography
She had a friendly and happy character, in addition to being very beautiful. She never lacked suitors, but she always rejected them because she had decided to remain a virgin. One day while she was tending her sheep, a knight passed by, the Count of Gothie, who, marveling at her beauty, offered to marry her. Interrupting her prayers, the peasant woman responded that she had taken a vow of chastity because she had a heavenly husband and did not want any other. It takes a high spirit when you are a rich and powerful count to endure such a response. Unfortunately this count did not have it. For weeks he was pestering the girl and her parents with the advantages of his marriage. Since everything was in vain, he decided to kidnap her. One day he surprised Solange with the herd, and immediately put her on the horse and galloped away. However, things did not go as well as he expected. The young peasant woman resisted so strongly that, when passing through a torrent, they both fell into the water. It is easy to imagine the anger of the Earl of Gothie splashing in the river. He was furious when he came out of the bathroom. He ran towards Solange, who was being carried by the current, caught up with her and cut off her head.
Practical advice
With simplicity and joy, give up having the last word in a discussion and start again with humility if it doesn't go well.
