Telmo, preacher (1185–1240)

His name was Pedro González Telmo, but people called him Telmo, and like Saint Telmo he has always been invoked by his devotees, especially the sailors who in moments of danger shout to him: “Saint Telmo, help me” without ever being disappointed.
Biography
After a fruitful career as a Dominican preacher, Telmo was appointed army chaplain by King San Fernando, where he tried to correct the vices of the military. He also dedicated himself to sailors, helping them form associations to defend their rights, helping them with all their needs and fervently indoctrinating them. After his death began an endless series of wonders achieved through his intercession.

Trusting in God's grace, respectfully approach those who have distanced themselves from the Church and offer that effort for someone who needs help.
