Tybalt (+1247)
Abbot
From 1235 until his death he was abbot of the monastery of VauxdeCernay, in France, which then had two hundred monks.
Biography
He always got up first and went to bed last. He was very humble and diligent: he swept the hallways, cleaned the cells, took the mortar and stones to the bricklayers. King Saint Louis, who for many years had no children, attributed to her prayers the happiness of having finally been able to found a large family.
Practical advice
In a spirit of service, spend a few minutes asking for holy and generous vocations as someone who works and prays under the loving gaze of God.
