Italian widow and founder of the Little Sisters of Divine Providence, Teresa Grillo Michel transformed her grief into motherhood for the abandoned.
Biography
Childless and widowed at the age of thirty-six, she opened her home to orphans, the elderly and the sick, until creating a stable work in Alessandria. The Eucharistic prayer sustained his dedication and his bold missionary initiatives. He crossed the Atlantic six times to establish asylums, schools, hospitals and homes in Latin America. His charity wanted to widen the arms of Providence to receive everyone.
