Teresa María de la Cruz Manetti (1846–1910)

Italian known familiarly as Bettina, Teresa Manetti lost her father at the age of three and learned from her mother strength, dignified poverty and trust in Providence.
Biography
At the age of nineteen she decided to consecrate herself totally to God and, with two companions, started a community inspired by the Teresian Carmel. She founded the Carmelites of Saint Teresa of Florence, dedicated to Eucharistic adoration, education and apostolic service. He spread his work to several countries and lived through a long illness without losing his dedication.
