Practical advice
Whenever you have the opportunity, avoid criticism and speak with charity about whoever has hurt you and offer that effort for someone who needs help.
Biography
He was chancellor of England, when King Henry II Plantagenet chose him as Bishop of Canterbury. In that position he vigorously defended the rights of the Church, whom the king wanted to dominate. In retaliation, he was banished to France, and when he returned to Canterbury, the king's loyalists murdered him in his cathedral (1118-1170).
